What is Group Training?
This 60-minute workout is a combination of aerobic/anaerobic interval training and resistance exercise and is customized to meet the needs of its attendees. A unique aspect of our Group Training Program is that you choose the group you are going to workout with. Have a group of friends, neighbors, or co-workers that you would enjoy getting in better shape with? All you need to get your own group started are people and some space. Simply contact us and we’ll help you get your group started. Each session finishes with gentle stretching, leaving you feeling energized all day long!
What if I’m not very physically fit?
Regardless of your fitness level, emphasis is placed on exercising safely, having fun, and completing the day’s workout. No one will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are safely capable of doing. But, everyone will go home feeling challenged!
When and where will we meet?
That is up to you and your group! We currently have groups training in parks, backyards, basements, schools, and the workplace. Our team of fitness professionals will make any location work.
What do I need to bring?
Your running shoes, water, and a positive attitude are all that is required.
What can I achieve from Group Training?
With regular attendance, you can expect to see terrific gains in your strength, endurance, and flexibility levels. By losing fat and gaining muscle, you will lose inches and gain a firmer body while looking and feeling better. All this will lead to dramatic improvements in your overall physical well-being and self-confidence.
Why should I participate?
In addition to the above, you will have the support of others who are also looking for motivation and inspiration in a team environment. Time and again, research shows that those who train in groups are often more successful and achieve better results than those who train on their own. Plus, if you are willing to work for it, you will love the results!
What is the cost (investment in myself)?
This is dependent on the number of people in your group and the location in which you decide to meet. However, most groups are usually in the $20 per group member per hour range. Considering personal trainers typically charge $70-$150 per hour for their services, this is a great opportunity to receive motivating instruction from a highly certified fitness professional at a fraction of the cost.
