Don is the President and Founder of Peak Performance Training, Inc., and has 20 years of experience in the health/fitness industry. He has spent most of the last 15 years working with youth athletes from the young age of 7 – up through high school and college. He has had the pleasure to play a role in the development of over 100 collegiate scholarship athletes, and the honor to see more than 20 become All-Conference performers, 5 go on to become All-Americans, and 1 become a National Champion. He currently works as the basketball strength and conditioning coach for three Chicagoland high schools, as well as in conjunction with the staff at Loyola Sports Medicine and Athletico Physical Therapy in providing programs/guidance to young athletes post physical therapy/injury. Don has his degree in Exercise Science from Iowa State University, and is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Personal Trainer. Don currently resides in Elk Grove Village, IL with his wife Justine, and their two sons Derek, 12 and Griffin, 8.
Scott is the co-owner of Peak Performance Training, Inc., and is also certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, as well as a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Illinois State University, where in addition, he was a Division I track and cross-country athlete. Most recently, he completed his Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certification in July 2016 and is currently working on Level 2. Scott has 13 years of experience in the health/fitness industry, where he has worked alongside Don. As a personal trainer and coach, Scott has worked with high-level athletes across all sports to individuals who are brand new to exercise. His goal is to deliver the highest quality, client specific programs, whether it be losing 20 pounds, lowering a 10k personal best, or simply getting in better shape to enjoy a higher quality of life. He gets his greatest satisfaction from helping his clients achieve beyond what they ever thought possible. Scott lives in Rolling Meadows, IL with his wife Stacy and dogs Gus and Max.
